Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: A complete refund excluding service charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for transactions made by card

Conditions: Cancellation must be communicated in writing through email or telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Conditions: A valid reason is required; additional administrative costs will be incurred

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No refund can be issued

Exception: Consideration for emergency situations is possible

Alternative: Offering credit for a future charter might be an option, subject to management's decision

Conditions: Proof is necessary for emergency situation claims

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our priority. Should the weather conditions be deemed hazardous for yacht operations by our certified captain, we provide adaptable alternatives:

  • Full Refund: If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund will be supplied
  • Reschedule: You can postpone your charter to a subsequent available slot with no extra charges
  • Charter Credit: A credit note that is effective for 12 months following the original charter date

Weather Assessment Process

The procedure for weather assessment includes:

  • Analysis of wind patterns and velocity
  • Evaluation of sea conditions and wave dimensions
  • Forecasts related to visibility and precipitation
  • Notifications and advisories issued by the Coast Guard
  • A professional safety review by our captain

Decision Timeline: Decisions on weather cancellations are finalized at least 4 hours before the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

We acknowledge that medical emergencies happen unexpectedly. Such incidents may qualify for exceptional refund consideration:

  • Unexpected sickness or injury provoking hospitalization
  • Passing of an immediate family member
  • Unanticipated military deployment or emergency recall
  • Being summoned for jury service or other legal obligations
  • Natural disasters impacting travel plans

Documentation Requirements

For processing requests of emergency refunds, the following proof is necessary:

  • A medical statement or documentation from a hospital
  • A death certificate, if relevant
  • Official military commandments
  • Notification of jury duty or legal summons
  • Advisories or declarations of an emergency impacting travel

Processing: Refunds due to emergencies are handled within 3-5 business days after correct documentation is received.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Issues

In case the vessel allocated to you faces mechanical issues that are irreparable:

  • Alternative Vessel: We will endeavor to supply a comparable alternative
  • Full Refund: In the instance where no alternative is presented
  • Partial Refund: If there is a price difference with the alternate vessel
  • Compensation: Extra compensation may be proposed for the inconvenience

Crew Unavailability

In extraordinary circumstances where skilled crew members cannot be sourced:

  • Efforts will be made to find a substitute crew if achievable
  • A full refund is given if the charter is unable to proceed
  • Rescheduling can be done without additional cost

Refund Processing

Payment Method

Refunds will be transferred back via the initial payment mode used when booking:

  • Credit Cards: The processing takes 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: Processing will be completed within 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: The duration for processing is between 3-5 business days

Processing Fees

Credit Card Processing

A €50 fee applies for cancellations with notice exceeding 72 hours

Bank Transfer Processing

For all refunds via bank transfer, a €25 charge is incurred

International Processing

Additional costs might apply for international processing

Charter Credits

When Credits Are Offered

In certain conditions, instead of refunds, charter credits may be proposed:

  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours prior)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Customer-initiated rescheduling requests
  • Disruptions in operations

Credit Terms

  • Validity: Credits are good for one year from the issuance date
  • Transferability: Credits are not transferable
  • Value: The full value of the charter excluding fees
  • Usage: Credits can be utilized for any available charters
  • Expiration: Credits must be used within 12 months and will not be extended

Partial Service Refunds

Service Interruptions

Should your charter experience interruptions or be cut short for reasons attributable to us:

  • Refund will be apportioned based on the unutilized duration
  • Option for credit on a future charter equivalent in worth
  • Offer of complimentary services or enhancements

Guest-Related Interruptions

For charters ended prematurely on account of guest conduct or breaches of safety:

  • No refunds for the portion not used
  • The entire payment shall be due
  • Potentially arising additional fees

Dispute Resolution

Dissatisfaction with a refund verdict allows you to:

  • Apply for an assessment by our managerial team
  • Submit further proof or documentation
  • Look for mediation via consumer protection entities
  • Explore legal channels as permitted by law

Step 3: Review and Processing

We'll acknowledge the receipt of your request within a day, evaluate it against our policy, issue a determination within 48 hours, and initiate the refund inside the stated timeframe upon approval.

Important Notes

  • All requests for reimbursements need to be in written form
  • Refunds are executed in € irrespective of the original payment's currency
  • Acquiring travel insurance is highly advised
  • Policy modifications can be made with a 30-day notification period
  • Refunds adhere to applicable tax laws and regulations
